Join Ryan for an afternoon of retreat-style, immersive practice at Bow Street Yoga. The purpose behind these mini-retreats is to attempt to gain understanding and integrate our practice of meditation with the practice of yoga asana. For 2017 the 4 retreat days will focus on understanding the Four Foundations of Mindfulness ( a Buddhist framework ) through the practices of mediation, asana, pranayama and critical thinking.
During June’s retreat we will focus on feeling, describing, and interpreting the sensations that arise during practice. Through this exploration we will explore how/if/when we can use this accuracy to support ourselves on the mat and in everyday life.

11:30-12:30 pm Lunch break
12:30-2pm Meditation + Talk/Discussion
*10am class is open to the public as well.
Students should bring a notebook, water bottle and eye-covering.
