This 3-hour workshop is an offering to share tips on yoga postures, and on mind-body exploration to aid the pregnant body and spirit during all 3 trimesters, plus the early postnatal (4th trimester) phase.
We will practice in short sequences for each phase of pregnancy, plus take time to discuss the many topics that arise through each phase of this transformational time in a woman's body and life. We will also go over some yogic techniques (such as breathing) that provide support during the actual birthing moments, and discuss common body and emotional changes that can occur in the postpartum period.
*Meant for currently pregnant women with all levels of yoga experience, for women planning/hoping to be pregnant, for partners wanting to learn more, and for teachers looking to gain basic knowledge on prenatal yoga.
