In this 4-hour workshop we will use an anti-oppressive lens to tackle questions like: What does it mean to be someone who teaches yoga? What does it mean to teach in an anti-oppressive or just way? What is cultural appropriation? What does it really mean to be an authentic teacher?
Sukriti Dabral (she/her) is a 1st generation Indian-American yoga teacher. Thanks to the work of Black social justice activists and thinkers she is passionate about applying intersectional analysis to American yoga, to make it more just and accessible for those who are currently left out. She is also studying to become a sex educator, and can definitely be found petting the nearest cat.
